Visit counting: plain terms:
This site records a small amount of visit data when a visitor arrives from a search engine: the page path, the type of event, the name of the referring search engine, and the text of a clicked outbound button. This information is used only to count page views and clicks on outbound buttons, and for nothing else. A single flag is kept in the browser for the current session so that one page view is counted once rather than multiple times; this flag does not persist beyond the session and carries no identifier tied to a person. Outside of arrivals from a search engine, this counting does not happen at all.
Hosting and page structure: technical basis:
This site is a set of static, self-contained pages served by a content delivery network. The network processes the technical details of every request as the hosting provider, which is a normal part of serving files on the web. Fonts used on the page are embedded locally rather than pulled from another server, and no other outside resource is loaded while a page is displayed. Every file a page needs comes from this domain. Outbound buttons point first to a path on this domain, which then redirects the visitor to the third-party site; this first-party redirect step is part of how the link works and does not add a separate collection step of its own.
This page cannot describe what happens after a visitor leaves through one of those outbound links. A partner site reached this way receives the request directly from the visitor's browser and keeps its own separate record of that visit, under its own terms. This page has no way to confirm what that other site does with the request it receives, how long it keeps any record, or who else might see it. There is no form on this site, so there is no field where a visitor is asked to type a name, an e-mail address, or any other personal detail. There is no contact channel built into the site. There are no third-party analytics scripts and no external subresources loaded alongside the page content, which is why the only data described above is the small, session-scoped counting mechanism tied to search-engine arrivals. Because there is no form and no contact channel, a visitor has no reason to submit personal information to this site through any part of it, and should not attempt to do so on the assumption that a channel exists.
